1/2" NPT Steel Street Tee is designed for various applications including grease, fuels, refrigeration, water, oil gas, and hydraulic systems. It has a working pressure of 1000 PSI and can withstand temperatures up to 400°F. To ensure a proper seal, sealants like teflon tape are required.
This street tee meets the standards of SAE corrosion resistance requirement. The plating meets ASTM B63, Fe/Zn 5 standards. However, it is not considered lead-free and should not be used with potable water. It is important to note that the NPT Thread size is not determined by the outside thread diameter in inches.
